Attend a Learn & Share EVENT designed for those with fasd & their caregiver.

Professionals are invited to listen in!

The Embraced movement and Red Shoes Rock, FASD Aware have joined together to host a learn and share format called, “We’re Listening, Heart-to-Heart” events throughout North America.

There are three goals for We’re Listening, Heart-to-Heart events:

  • To empower caregivers with hope and current research data.

  • To help persons with FASD discover their strengths and meet others with FASD

  • To collect FASD stories that could potentially be used in the documentary or website.

The Embraced film crew will be on-site to collect stories. Event participants who would like to be interviewed can share their story. We are listening. You can also share your story online.

These learn & share events are 3-hours long and held on Saturdays with two timeframes. The format and information presented at each event session is the same, so attendees can choose the most efficient time. (noon to 3pm or 4:30 to 7:30pm).

Presenter Information

Volunteer to make a presentation

Every local Rotary Club, Lion’s Club, PTA, teacher’s association, Sheriff’s office, therapy association, first responders, community of faith, parenting organizations (foster care, day care, adoption, kinship care), social worker’s organization, judicial teams, etc. are looking for speakers to deliver important and relevant content. If this is your super hero skill and all you need is a presentation or half-day learn & share program— we’ve already have it prepared for you to add to your toolbox.
